Maiden flight of cooking oil fuel

BBC - Australian Qantas launched its maiden flight in the country is working with a mixture of refined cooking oil and conventional jet fuel, as a first step on the road to dependence on bio-fuels.



The Airbus A330 took off from Sydney to Adelaide with half conventional jet fuel from oil replicates and half of refined edible oil.
And starting from July Australia tax on carbon emissions, similar to the European Union, Qantas is seeking to avoid fined , and carbon emissions of biofuels may be less than 60 per cent of conventional fuel.
